Southtowns Fitness Center currently provides one-on-one and semi-private training to people of all ages and fitness levels (if you have several family members, friends, or co-workers you wanted to train with). We have a number of different training packages available to better suit your needs, goals, and budget.

Personal Training

When you work with a SFC personal trainer, you will benefit from a personal fitness program that is custom-built with your goals in mind. Whether you want to lose weight and keep it off, gain lean muscle mass, or simply look and feel better in the clothes you are in, your personal trainer will take the guesswork out of how to get there.

During one-on-one sessions, a personal trainer will take you through workouts designed to help you reach your specific goals in the shortest amount of time possible. You will learn proper form and technique to maximize your results while reducing your risk of injury. PT is ideal if you are trying to lose weight, gain muscle, improve posture and flexibility, increase sports performance, or simply feel better.

Semi-Private Training

Want to combine the benefits of group exercise with the guidance and motivation of a personal trainer? Semi-Private Training is perfect for you. During these one-hour sessions, a personal trainer will take you and up to 3 other members (such as family members,  friends, or teammates) through challenging and fun workouts. It’s a great way to include some friendly competition and moral support in your fitness routine. Semi-Private Training sessions are designed to accommodate all fitness levels and experience.

When you purchase semi-private training, you will receive:

  • 8 one-hour sessions over a 4 week period.
  • Introduction to functional training equipment like kettlebells, medicine balls, stability balls, resistance bands and more.
  • Challenging, different, and fun workouts that incorporate everything from cardio drills, kettlebell training, resistance training, core conditioning, and more.

How to Prepare For Your Training Sessions

To get the most out of your training sessions, remember to: 

  • Wear comfortable workout clothes and sneakers/tennis shoes.
  • Bring a towel and water bottle.
  • Be ready for a fun, challenging, motivating experience!
